The R-factor (as determined by the E-model) for a particular call exceeds or (more typically) has fallen beneath the threshold set in Expert Thresholds. Possible reasons for this event:
n Network congestion is causing delay, jitter, and resulting in packet loss and hence poor voice quality.
n Route flapping is causing jitter and resulting in packet loss and poor voice quality.
n Ethernet problems along the voice path (such as bad cables or interfaces) are causing packet loss and poor voice quality.
